Holly Giacomodonato

Green Shores Program Assistant

Holly is an experienced environmental researcher, communicator, and administrator. She has a BA in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and Environmental Science from Acadia University. Here she completed an honours thesis about the environmental-political history of the Halifax Public Gardens and assisted in the creation of environmental-history information boards for the Kentville Historical Society. She is currently a Master’s of Environmental Studies candidate at Dalhousie University studying greenhouse gas emissions associated with seafood consumption in the United Kingdom. Holly also has experience working within a youth-led non-profit to complete project deliverables and create engaging well-researched content in a variety of formats including social media posts, webpages, and podcasts. Holly is passionate about her work as an assistant for Green Shores Program at TransCoastal Adaptations Centre and enjoys spending time near the dynamic shores across Nova Scotia through foraging, paddling and swimming.
