TransCoastal Adaptations has partnered with MODL to offer a free public workshop the Green Shores program and living shorelines. The basis of the Green Shores program is nature-based alternatives to hardened shorelines (rock walls, seawalls, etc.) that can help coastal property owners to effectively combat coastal erosion.
This full-day workshop will give you an opportunity to learn about these exciting techniques in a local setting. Half of the session will be spent in the classroom at the fire hall and the other half will be spent on site at LaHave Sunset Park.
Time: 9AM - 4PM
Location: Conquerall Bank Fire Department Hall (2228 Conquerall Road) & LaHave Sunset Park
To register: Send your name and contact information to Kelly Umlah at kelly.umlah@smu.ca. Space is limited and registration is first come first served.
